Resetting customised heart rate zones

ANSWERED

For about 4 months I've been taking beta blocker medication for anxiety. Back when I started taking them, I altered my heart rate zones to reflect my lower pulse rate due to the medication. I'm now in the process of coming off them and want to reset my heart rate zones back to where they were before. However, I can't work out how to do this. My stats are now showing hundreds of active minutes per day as my pulse is much higher even during light exercise such as walking quickly up the stairs.

It appears that the app has changed as I've looked at previous advice for such an issue on the forum and I can't find a helpful answer.

@Jonesy1977   It sounds like you set a Custom Max Heart Rate.  Changing this is supposed to change your moderate, vigorous, and peak zones.  Please try the following path:

  • Tap on your profile picture
  • Tap on Fitbit settings
  • Tap on heart rate in the PREFERENCES section
  • Tap on Heart rate zones at the top
  • Tap on Max heart rate in the CUSTOM section
  • Tap on Reset to default

This might or might not work.  This feature isn't working properly on Android.

@LZeeW you're a star. Thank you so much for replying with easy to follow instructions. I've fixed it and it took seconds. Plus I'm on Android and so was doubtful it was going to work but it has.
