Wasn't your flex already connected to your Fitbit account? It's been 5 years since the Flex was produced.
Have you tried shutting of the phone?

It was my moms old fitbit and she could never figure it out and she just game it to me the other day and I'm just setting it up but the app keeps saying I'm not connected to the internet and I have uninstalled the app and shut down my phone already and it didnt work and the flex wont connect to bluetooth either
