Has anyone had success with a Fitbit tracker on a Samsung A40?

I know it's not on the list of supportes devices but neither is my previous phone (A5) I had a Charge HR which wouldn't work but was old and a bit knackered but would like a new tracker. I'm open to ideas on which type, if anyone can suggest something that will work with an A40?

Even though your Samsung Galaxy A40 is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, can you please provide more information and details about the actual issue you're experiencing with your Fitbit device?
