Hi,
When are you going to make the Charge 3 compatible with the A5 please?

It's great to welcome you @Useitnow99.
I just wanted to let you know that I have moved your post from the Charge 3 board to the Android app board, since I think that here you will be able to see more related topics about the Fitbit app.
Now about your compatibility inquiry, Fitbit is compatible with more than 200 of the most popular Android, iOS and Windows mobile devices.
The full list of compatible devices with confirmed compatibility can be found here. If a device isn’t listed it doesn’t mean it won’t work with a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch. We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit App, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models.
A majority of Android phones running version 4.4 or higher will work with our products, however we cannot guarantee optimal performance on devices for which we have not tested and confirmed compatibility.
Let me know if you need anything else.

I have the A5. It was compatible with my Charge 3 from Oct 2018 to mid December. It no longer works now.

when might you add the A5? This watch is useless to me otherwise. Thank you

I'd like to know this too please. If you're not planning to implement a fix for the A5 can I get a refund on my Charge 3 as I can't use it.

Did everything work on your A5? Were you able to read texts?

Yes it worked fine until mid December when they did the update. Now it won't work at all.

newyorkrox advised the Fitbit charge was working with her Samsung A5 but now no longer works. I believe she was also able to receive texts which is not working for me. Can you explain?

My new Charge 3 does not sync for 4 -5 days with my Galaxy A5. When is the software update for this issue?

I also am an A5 owner and had a charge 2 for over 18 months and like many others he screen cracked, no help from fit bit on that one. My husband unaware to me got a charge 3 for christmas for me. I was great for 2 months then it wouldnt sink to my phone and when i tried to connect my tracker to phone all i got on tracker was "not found". ,i taken one back to john lewis and got a replacement, synced fine for 2 days then alas same issue. Wouldnt track my run or download the running stats to my phone. I have done everything fit bit told me to do ,i.e reboot, uninstall then reinstall, turn bluetooth off then restart app. Nothing works, all i then got was fitbit charge 3 hasnt been compatability tested with the samsung A5. Its a popular phone so isnt it about time the issue was sorted. Really not sure what to do now. Stuck with a tracker which is no good with my phone.

I have a charge2 and Galaxy A5 too...always the same issue: sync between devices getting lost while I'm running! Always! That's frustrating, it's impossible to get a real pace and distance of your training. And, of course, other apps (gmaps, runtastic,...) never have this problem!

Most things are working on my fitbit app to myfitnesspal but, frustratingly, the exercise that is tracked on my charge 3/ fitbit app is not syncing with myfitnesspal. If I manually input my exercise in on my fitness pal so it shows me my accurate calories remaining then it doubles up in my fitbit app. Bleh! I may end up taking this back unless it's updated as well. I don't want to buy a new phone too. Sigh.
