Samsung Galaxy J5 Incompatibility with Charge HR

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Can you please advise when full compatibility with my Samsung Galaxy J5 phone will be available. I run the FitBit app on this device. It can sync my data but Charge HR rejects pairing to use the phone notification ability, etc. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello @PaulaTaylor and welcome aboard to our community. So far the only devices fully tested to be compatible with the Fitbit app is the Samsung J. While many Android devices have a Bluetooth 4.0 chip, not all devices are able to be accessed by apps like the Fitbit App although the product teams are constantly testing devices to make it compatible but there is not an specific date for each device. Keep looking for news regard compatibility in the compatible devices page by going to the following link: https://www.fitbit.com/devices

Catch ya later, I'll be around.

It's great to see you around @Jrushty. Samsung Galaxy J5 is not a compatible phone yet. Our team is hard working in testing the compatibility of several phones. I recommend keeping an eye on our list of compatible mobile devices for any update. But keep in mind that he can always sync the tracker with a computer or compatible device.

Catch you later. Woman Wink
