I cannot believe that the Samsung Note 9 is not compatible with Alta HR! Is there any work around to start getting text message notifications?
I may just end up getting a Samaung watch.

Hello @Dazzled26
As you mentioned, this is happening because the Stylo 4 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps for the notifications.
There is a third-party app that some users have used to some success in the past. It is called Fit Notifications. Having said that, the app is not developed or related directly to Fitbit in any way so I can't guarantee that it will work. You can give it a shot if you want.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello,
Has this been resolved? I just got my Fitbit Alta HR because it said that it was compatible now I am reading in the forums that it is not? Is this still the case? This link shows that Note 9 is compatible, which is the list I used to help me make my decision. So is this the case or is there something else going on?

Welcome to the Forums @AlyssaBC.
I apologize for the delay in my response. Let me answer those questions and help you out!
As you mentioned, the Note 9 is definitely a supported device at this time and thus they should work. If the notifications are still not working correctly, let's try to follow the steps listed in this help article. They should help in getting them to work correctly with your new Alta.
