I just switched to Galaxy from iPhone. I'm so disappointed that I can't connect my S10+ to my fitbit ionic. When is the S10+ supposed to be compatible?

Hello @foxymama3.

Thanks for sharing your interest in having the S10 be added to the list.

As you mentioned, this is happening because the S10 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.

In the meantime, perhaps you could support this suggestion about adding it to the list. You can comment and vote on the idea to show your support. Be sure to also read the FAQ if you visit that board.

As for any specific dates, we do not have any details on when we can expect the phone to be added.

Let me know if you have any further questions on the situation.

After some work, I got my Ionic to work with my new Samsung Galaxy S10+, which IS now on the FitBit supported devices list

I had switched phones from an S7edge.

These are the things I did that got it to work.

Explicitly unpaired it from S7.

Restarted ionic as recommended.

Turned bluetooth off and on

(Those alone did not suffice but I had done them)

Turned Airplane mode on and off.  Bluetooth must get some sort of refresh that way.

Now it would complete the pairing!!!

I'm so frustrated with this situation! The S10+ is now listed as compatible and it's still not working correctly with my fitbit ionic! I tried all of the things the below person suggested and it's still not working correctly. It's syncing with my phone (although I removed it from my paired devices and I can't get it to list it as a paired device although it's updating my steps!) What it use to do was notify me when I have a text or a phone call. It never does that anymore. It's very frustrating!

Disregard my last response. My son went through my settings and was able to get it working for me!
