Samsung can't connect with Alta HR

My phone app stopped being able to sync with my Alta HR. I restarted both. I 'unpaired' the Bluetooth on my phone but now when I try to pair them again,  my phone can't see my Alta. Occasionally it finds it but says it cannot pair. Help!
