My Samsung Galaxy S8 cant find my Fitbit Alta HR anymore.
Is it a Fitbit problem or a Sansung?
Is it because an upgrade from one of them?
It worked for about a year before this happend

Unfortunately, connection and syncing problems can happen from time to time, often without any obvious reason. When they do, the normal things to try are:

I followed these instructions and I think it works now 🙂
First, turn off Background Restrictions/Limitations: Phone settings > Apps & Notifications > Fitbit app > Background restrictions or Background limits.
Then, disable battery limitations:
