While running, I activate the running function in my fitbit app. The screen will not stay awake therefore every time I want to check it I have to swipe my phone on and then open the app. Is there a way to fix this? I have a Samsung S5. I am unable to find an option to keep the phone "awake".

@Sandrasturz That is functioning as intended. If the backlight were to stay on during your run and the phone was say, in your pocket, you could accidentally pause the activity and lose your run data.
If you'd like to see an option for keeping the backlight on during MobileRun activities, I suggest creating an idea within our Feature Request board. The more votes those ideas get, the more likely they're to be considered for implementation in a future release. Share the idea here once you've created it so others can vote as well!

My Nike run app stays on the entire time and i've never had any issue.
I'll just use that instead of the GPS tracking within the fitbit app I guess. Sucks to have my stats seperated though but I can not keep using it the way it is. 😞 @ErickFitbit
