One continuing issue I have with Android phones in general is that they get wonky after some time of use. It seems the memory and/or cache gets corrupted and then apps don't work correctly. Last week my Waze app started going crazy when it jumping my current location and I had to stop and correct it. The way it usually helps is to close all the apps on the phone and restart the phone. It sometimes helps to also restart the fitbit as well and try again. If you have not tried this yet - try it and see if it helps.
