Setting the time abroad

When i try to set the time, fitbit is telling me my time zone setting on my phone are incorrect. It is not incorrect but my hr charge is not letting me manually set the time. I am capable of adding one hour to the time my fit it thinks is right, but it is annoying me!

Is there a 'just shut up and listen, I know what bloody time it is, so just accept what I'm telling you' option on the fitbit or do I just have to put up with it being an hour out? Many thanks.

Hello @Casual_User, welcome to the Fitbit Forums.

In this case, perhaps we could try to manually select the timezone and not have the app use the same time zone as the phone. You can do this by:

  1. going into the Fitbit app and tapping the account tab.
  2. Scroll down and go into Advanced Settings.
  3. Turn off the 'Automatic time zone' option and then select the time zone you need.
  4. Sync your tracker.

Let me know how it goes after that!
