I am new to fitbit and it is giving me hell to set it up and sync. I don't know if it's the app or the device, since I have had the same issues trying to do it on the computer.
I installed the latest version of the app on my phone, and when I try to set it uo, it gets stuck in the wifi part. The app doesn't recognize any network, even though my phone is connected to one... I even sit literally next to the modem and nothing. I decided to skip that step and in the update section, it never finds the phone to install updates (and yes, the Bluetooth is on). It stays there for hours and turns impossible to make it work. I have tried turning off and on again the Bluetooth, the phone, the app, and the watch. With this last action, the watch keeps showing the screen with and X saying it didn't sync.
What can I do?

Hi @Alapotter may I ask what tracker do you have?
You also will not be able to setup WiFi until the initial setup of the tracker.
Is your WiFi 2.5?
