Hello @SunsetRunner, let me start by giving you the welcome to the Fitbit Community. I'm wondering how much sleep you actually get and how much is showing your Fitbit app? Can you tell me how much is the difference of sleep?

Meanwhile, try to change the settings to sensitive to see if this improve your sleep recordings. TO change this option you need to access though your online-Dashboard under your tracker settings. (Open the gear icon located in the right upper corner from the main page on your Dashboard > Click on top of your tracker > scroll to the sleep tracking configuration > Change from normal to Sensitive) Sync your tracker to apply the changes and give it a try.

If the sleep discrepancy persists please try with a restart. For additional details please take a look at the following post: How to restart your Charge 2?

Rest assure your sleep should not affect your step accuracy.

Hope this helps and keep me posted how it goes.

Hi,

I thought the tracking had rectified itself after a reset, but its way out.
Its missing hours saying Im getting 3 - 4 hours but I average 7 - 8 hours.
Do you think switching to sensative will fix the problem?

Thanks

Are your start and end times correct?

Mine tells me i might only have had 4 hours sleep, but was actually in bed sleeping for 8 hours. It's because the other 4 hours were restless sleep, and it only counts the not-restless sleep.

Is that what's happening for you?

Hi,

Last night it said I fell asleep at 5.30ish and woke up at just turned 9.
The awake time is right but the start of sleep is way off

I noticed, that if  spend a lot of time laying in bed, some of that will get counted as sleep. Also I feel that on the charge 2 I am confident that the device is functioning well, but sometimes my syncing to the phone and to the online dashboard either doesn't show sleep time properly or at all. If after resetting the device and adjusting the sensitivity in the settings there isn't an improvement, maybe support can help with the issue.

Hi

I have previously been on here trying to sort the sleep log out. The accuracy is way off...Ive tried numerous different things from setting it to sensative and resets but the problem still persists. It recorded sleep when i was pottering around! May end up sending it back as it really sucks

Hi there @SunsetRunner, thank you for letting me know the issue still persists. I'm sorry I haven't posted anything lately. I'm wondering if you can share some screenshots of your sleep log to in order to have a closer look? This will be helpful to find a reasonable explanation or a solution. If you need help to upload screenshots to the Community the following post will guide you through.

I'll be looking forward to your response. Catch ya later!
