Sleep not tracking correctly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit only recorded 3 hours and 51 minutes of sleep last night.  I got up to use the bathroom and fell back asleep, awake at 5 am.  The tracking stopped when I got up during the night.  I have a Samsung note 8.

Hello @pattyirene

Thanks for bringing this up.

What is the Fitbit device that you are using to track your sleep?

As for what could've happened, there are some things that could lead to this. Maybe you went back to sleep but it was lighter sleep, and you were moving around. This could cause the Fitbit to think that you are still awake. Additionally, if your Fitbit can track HR, if your HR remained high after you went to sleep instead of going down to your regular sleep levels, then the Fitbit will consider that as time awake.

You could manually edit the sleep to reflect the accurate times, however.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
