Sleep time showing differently on app v. watch - Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For the past few days the sleep time - totals and stages - have been reported differently on the app (Note 5) than they are on my watch (Versa).  Today for instance my watch says total sleep time was 7 hrs 26 mins and app says it was 6 hours 39 minutes.  The stages are all different one to the other as well.  I have reset the watch and logged out and back into the app.  Still the same.  Any ideas?

Welcome to the Forums @Jsouthren.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing what you have tried to get the information to match.

The first thing I'd like to recommend is that you try checking the web version of the Dashboard to verify how the sleep information is showing in there.

In the meantime, I'd like let's try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling. That should help in case some cache or information was stored from the app that causes the discrepancy,

I look forward to your reply. Please keep me posted on how it goes.

Thanks for your quick response! It's actually the sleep time on the watch that's the problem though, not on the app.  The sleep time on the watch is sticking at the metrics from a few days ago. But the sleep time on the app is changing daily and is consistent with what I know to have been the sleep pattern. So if I now know the watch is the problem, is your advice the same or would you suggest something different?

Hello @Jsouthren.

Thank you very much sharing that clarification.

In that case my recommendation would be that you try to sync your Fitbit and make sure all data has been loaded to the servers correctly. After doing that, try running the set up as if you were setting up a replacement. You can click here to find instructions on how to do it.

Let me know if there are any other questions on the matter and keep me posted on how it goes.
