Sleep tracking edit anomaly

(Topic originally posted on Charge 2 forum, I think it's better in the Android app one)

Hi there

Ihave noticed that Fitbit will not record the end of my sleep time correctly, if I awake and lie quietly for a while. It does mark the time as awake, but only records the end of the sleep time as the time I actually get up or start moving around. For example this morning I awoke at 6:02, got up for a minute then returned to bed until 6:17 or so. Fitbit recorded my waking time as 6:17. It showed me awake from 6:01 until 6:17, with a time asleep of 6 hours 2 minutes. (Time asleep does not count time awake, naturally.)

There is, however a strange anomaly when I edit my sleep times to show the time I actually awoke (6:01). When I completed the edit (changed it to 6:02) and saved, my time asleep changed from 6 hours 2 minutes to 5 hours 54 minutes. I edited it again to a waking time of 6:02 and it now shows time asleep 5 hours 49 minutes.

This is obviously a software bug as I have noticed it before.

If Fitbit stopped recording sleep time at the time I wake (it does show that I was awake) I wouldn't need to edit, but if the edit does such weird calculation changes, it should really be fixed.

Cheers

Ellie
