I keep waking up in the middle of the night, and the device isn't recognizing it. I even made a point to tap the buttons on the tracker every time I wake up, so it would know I'm awake. Why did it not register those times as times I was awake??? Shouldn't there be some logic in there that if you're touching the buttons on the watch, you're awake??

Welcome, @Stracq! It's great to see you around.
Thanks for the details shared. Are you using your Fitbit device to track your sleep or do you use the option "Begin Sleep Now" on the Fitbit app? If you're using the option on the Fitbit app to track your sleep, it won't recognize when you're awake until you tap on the "I'm Awake" button.
Catch you later.
