Sony Xperia XZ3 compatibility

Hi there,

Today my wife just bought a Charge 3, she's been dreaming about for some time, just to notice it does not work with her Huawei P9 Lite.  She's quite sad but eh... had to check before i'd say. We're currently trying to get this solved if anyone know about a working solution.

But for some time now, she want to switch up phone and pick of of those new Sony Xperia XZ3, so i thought we can just buy it now instead of reselling the Charge 3, not a big deal but... XZ3 is not currently on the list of compatible phones, so i guess it hasn't been tested yet by the tech guys, because XZ2 has proven to be fully compatible. Anyone having experiences/updates on this? I will not make her dump 600 bucks into a phone to find it's not compatible again lol.

So if either someone has a XZ3 and can confirm me it work, or if tech guys can at least say me when it will be tested (or if it has already been and proven it doesn't work)

Thanks all

Hey @Sixters, welcome to the Community!

I just wanted to let you know that I have moved your post from the Charge 3 board to the Android app board, since I think that here you will be able to see more topics related the Fitbit app.

Now about your compatibility inquiry, Fitbit is compatible with more than 200 of the most popular Android, iOS and Windows mobile devices.

The full list of compatible devices with confirmed compatibility can be found here. If a device isn’t listed it doesn’t mean it won’t work with a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch. We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit App, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models.

A majority of Android phones running version 4.4 or higher will work with our products, however we cannot guarantee optimal performance on devices for which we have not tested and confirmed compatibility.

Let me know if you need anything else. Smiley Wink
