My problem is my phone shows steps but my fitbit app only records calories and water. How do i get my steps back on the app to sync.

Hi, @SunsetRunner - when you open the Fitbit App there is an Edit [near the top on the right].
Click on this and then add the missing elements [using the +] and tiles [scroll down] and arrange them as you would like.

@Guy_ Thanks for your help! That is the way to add hidden tiles back to the "Today" dashboard.
@SunsetRunner Welcome to the forums. I will gladly help you regarding the stats displayed on your Fitbit app. Thanks for the explanation. If only calories are shown and you did not change a thing, it could be possible that no device is connected to your account. Please open the Fitbit app and tap on your profile picture. After you tap on it, the app shows you the devices linked to your account. If no device is listed there, that is the reason that no stats are shown. Stats are hidden when no device tracking them is connected to the account. Make sure you have a device set up with your account.
In case you do have a device set up with your account and is listed on the profile settings on the Fitbit app, follow the above instructions in order to add the tiles back to the "Today" dashboard, as @Guy_ explained.
Have a nice day!

Hi, I am a new user to this and have since a few days a Fitbit Inspire 2. On my wrist the product works fine, although in daylight sometimes difficult to read.
But in the app I can only get the calories as mentioned above by Sunsetrunner. The solution of adding with EDIT only shows Training, Health for women, Water, Food, Mindfulness as options.
As far as I can see none gives me the desired steps and distance information.
Hope you have an answer?
Have a nice day

Hi @Thei52 - in the Fitbit App, top section you should see Steps, if it's missing click Edit and add it in the top section.
If you are looking for more detailed information about your activities you need the Exercise tile, to track your exercise.
If you don't find the tile during Edit, click the Discover tab at the bottom and scroll down to Health and Fitness stats, you may find it there.
If not, logout and for Android clear the storage cache and force stop it, and possibly restart the phone, in case it is a temporary issue with the app.

Hi @guy , thx for your swift response.
I understand your remark, but I don't have the option. I only have the options that I mentioned before, namely:Training, Health for women, Water, Food, Mindfulness
And it shows calories.
I have an iPhone 12, latest IOS 16.0.2 and downloaded the Fitbit app from the apple store. Version 3.67 and I can asure you the first screen in the app is substantially different from the one advertised in the store.

Ok, finally could contact helpdesk and it turned out my tracker did not (properly) connect! After a lengthy process but with great help from helpdesk Sabine, my stressfactor is reduced and my information is visible in the app! Thx for your help.

Hi I guess I had the same problem, but after connecting the tracker with the app again (and this took a very long time) it finally worked.
