Hi my steps not showing on phone dashboard .

Hi @Sukie65, I assume that when you try to sync via your phone, you have your Bluetooth turned on?  If not, you will need to make sure it is on and that all other Fitbits, except for the one in question are either turned off or removed from the area.  The same is true for any other Bluetooths in the area.

 

First, let's start with your Fitbit.  Please try a restart.  Do the restart at least 3 times.  Try to sync again.

 

If that doesn't work, let's try solving issues with your Bluetooth.  Please turn the Bluetooth on and off again.  If that doesn't work, you may need to tell your phone to "forget" your tracker and re-pair it with the Bluetooth.

 

If that still doesn't work, let's try solving any issues with the app on your phone.  Please force close the app.  If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

 

Let's try one more thing before restarting your phone if the reinstall of the app doesn't work.  Try setting up your device as a new device.  Instructions can be found here.  

 

Finally, if that doesn't help, you may need to restart your phone.

 

If none of the above steps work, you may be trying to sync when the servers are busy.  Please wait and try again later.  By avoiding peak times, you will get faster service.

 

Hopefully one of these workarounds will help.  By going through the process outlined above, we can narrow down what is causing you to have syncing issues, and will therefore be in a better position to help you.

Just check and see which update of the app you are using. If it's the latest one it's probably the app that is causing the problem. See the pinned thread at the start of the forum. Looks like all the usual hoop jumping doesn't work and everyone is waiting for fitbit to get its act together and sort it out.
