Stop "Reminder to Move" on my Pixel Watch

I have found several web pages of instructions on how to achieve this, but none seem to be current.

For example, this one:

  1. On the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Hourly Activity tile. This is the tile that shows the number of hours you completed 250 steps.
  2. Tap the gear icon and turn Reminders to Move on or off."

I don't have the stupid "gear" icon.

I have found other guides and they are out of date as well.

Does anyone know how to stop this maddening behavior?

@LordP

Tap the Battery icon at the top left of the today screen in the Fitbit app.
Tap on your watch, then Reminders to move, toggle Get reminders to off.

Finally!!!

I've been going nuts for a couple of days.

I found "fixes" but some said tap the "watch icon" on the top left, others said "gear icon" none of which I have.

Thank you.
