Surge time zone did not update yesterday when my flight landed in a new time zone. Surge remains 1 hr behind.
App is sync'ing successfully (eg steps etc. all update in the app) but Surge time remains 1 hr behind my phone's (network) time.
App is set to automatic time zone setting, has worked before (I travel weekly between time zones and the fitbit updated fine).
I have toggled the setting off/on, and re-sync'd before and after, and the time still did not reset.
I have shutdown my Surge, and re-sync'd before and after, and the time still did not reset.
I have stopped the app, and even restarted my phone, and re-sync'd before and after, and the time still did not reset.
I downloaded and applied the latest Surge firmware, re-sync'd, (and shutdown the Surge and restarted the phone) and the time still did not reset.
I did notice that the app continued to tell me there was an update available after I had applied the update (and, obviously, if I tried to do the update again I received a message that the firmware on the surge is current.). it was not until I closed and restarted the app that the "update is available" message cleared. FYI only.
thanks for any guidance.
with latest f/w updated today)

Hello @Manszter, let me give you a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! I was reading you have troubles with the timezone of your Fitbit Surge.
Try to change the timezone to manual in the Account Tab
.
Change your location to a random timezone and sync your tracker. Once you have done this change back the timezone to your current location and sync one more time to apply the changes.
If the issue persists, please log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.
Hope this helps, for more help stay tuned to the Fitbit Community!
