Surge will not sync properly after upgrading to android 6.0.1

HI

I recently upgraded my Samsung NOTE 4 to android 6.01.

Prior to the upgrade syncing was flawless.

Presently, the only way to sync is to remove the device and re add it.

It will sync only once and then I have to do the whole exercise of removing the device and adding it again.

strange it works only once.

Gone thru the numerous suggestion on the forum.

I have tried reseting the device numerous times.

I've removed the bluetooth paring and re installed it from scratch.

Believe I am running the most recent Fitbit app.

Not sure what else to try... I am positive it has to do with the updated operating system.

will there be an another update soon?

Any other suggestions?

Finally fixed the syncing problem on the NOTE 4.

Steps taken

1) Removed the device.

2) Ensured pairing did not exist any more on phone.

3) Removed FitBit App

4) shut down Phone

5) shutdown Surge

6) Re installed App from scratch

Its been almost 24 hours and it is syncing as previously

Hope the above can help someone else
