Sync foods from My Fitness Pal to Fitbit

I've entered food into My Fitness Pal, is there a way for the foods to show in the Fitbit app too? I'd hate to enter my meals twice. If that's the case, I'll strictly only track with Fitbit. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is what you meant but I thought I'd point out that when syncing MFP with Fitbit, you won't see your actual foods (i.e. apple for breakfast, salad for lunch, etc.) move over to your Fitbit app. Instead you'll only see your total calorie intake for each meal (i.e. 80 calories for breakfast, 300 calories for lunch, etc.).

You can link up your fitbit and MyFitnessPal accounts as documented here:

https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1288/

Food entered into MFP only shows at a summary level in fitbit though e.g. all your lunch food items will be combined into one item called lunch.

Strange. I've just checked and mine seem to be syncing ok.

I notice in the MFP help files that there's a suggestion for disconnecting the two and then relinking the account. It's talking about syncing steps but might be worth a try as it seems straightforward:

There's also a generic troubleshooting guide:

Mine isn't syncing food or water at all. Not even calorie amounts per meal. I've tried all the de-link relink suggestions but it still won't sync. Will it only do so at the end of the entire day?

I think there is something wrong with the tracking site. None of our fitbits are recording or monitoring since yesterday afternoon.

I've noticed two things recently.... For the past few weeks, on my Fitbit dashboard, the Calories in doesn't automatically update. I have to click in that tab to get it to pull from MFP (where I log my food).  Then the tile would reflect the right numbers on the dash. Although annoying, it wasn't the end of the world.

As of yesterday, the Calories In tile isn't updating correctly. After I click in the tile, the food information refreshes and shows how many calories in, out and left. But when I go back to the dashboard, it only updates calories eaten. The amount I have left to eat is no longer updating or match what is listed when I click in the tile itself.

I did all of that as well. I've decided to log all food and beverages with
fitbit instead of my fitness pal. I like to see each food item broken down.
I hope your technology starts working soon!
