Synchronizing Pixel Smartwatch4 with Fitbit app v4.66.1

ANSWERED

Hi all,

I am noticing a discrepency between the data op Pixel smartwatch4 (45mm model) and the data that has been synced to the Fitbit app, more specifically with the data concerning the training days of the current week.

On my Pixel smartwatch4 I have the following:

It shows 1 of 4 training days this week, but on the Fitbit app it shows 0 out of 4 training days!

Is this a known issue? Thanks for your feedback!

I tried to upload images of this, but I am getting a 'message body contains "26 dash 04 dash 14", which is not permitted' error msg when posting. Don't know what this cryptic msg means.

Kind regards,

Dave

Hi @Gr4ndp4 ,

Thanks for your reply. I do not get the option to switch to the public review version. This is probably due to the fact that I have not activated the premium subscription.

In the meantime I have found the cause of the issue.

SettingsSettings

On the Health Connect on today settings screen the option Show data from Health Connect was selected.

I have now changed this to Only show data from Fitbit.

This was the solution to my issue. All is good now!

Thanks for your assistance.

Kind regards,

Dave

Hi, @DaveTC welcome to the community. Are you using the "Public Preview" version of the app? I'm getting yesterday & today in both versions. Have you manually synced the app (by sliding your finger down the Today screen & releasing)

I hope this helps.

Cheers

Hi @Gr4ndp4,

Thanks for your reply.

Don't know if the app the "public preview" version is or not. In the help screen I see Fitbit 4.66.1. Yes I have tried manually syncing the data both from the app (sliding finger down from the today screen), as well as from the Pixel SmartWatch4, to no avail.

I tried uploading screenshots from both the Pixel 8 pro as well as Pixel SmartWatch4 in my original posting, but was unable. Got a message saying this was not permitted.

Kind regards,

Dave

Hi, @DaveTC  If you open the Fitbit app and see -

You are in the regular app. Touch your icon in the top right corner>public preview>switch app version> you get the public preview of the forthcomming new Fitbit app. Bear in mind, it is not complete yet, a work in progress -

In any event, may I suggest that if you have already synced your Watch & the Fitbit app on your phone, try restarting your phone and your PW.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers
