Syncing difficulties with Versa Lite and Huawei P Smart 2019

I have purchased a Huawei p smart it was syncing with my Versa lite when i first installed the fitbit app but has since stopped syncing. I have tried uninstalling the app checked all the different settings on the app and phone, turned my watch off and on again.

 

Its driving me crazy.

 

 I like to check my sleep every morning and can't get as much detail on my watch. I Hope i can get this resolved or i buying a Garmin 🙂

Been trying to set up the device for 2 days now have got update to 100% after two days then fitbit disconnected and update failes every time
