Syncing issue

I have a fitbit alta and use an s6 edge for the app in the last week I cannot sync my tracker at all, have managed to get it to do it twice in last 4 days, including using computer dashboard where it tells me there is an error. My fitbit app and tracker are up to date to the best of my knowledge and everything had been working perfectly. I have uninstalled, reset and done all things I can find online to try to solve the problem but nothing works .

A warm welcome to the Community @foxglove2. Thanks for troubleshooting this inconvenience by yourself. I would like to know if you keep having problems syncing your tracker? If you do, I recommend following our syncing troubleshoot. After these steps your tracker should work properly.

I think I need a troubleshooting. I have had my Surge, for months now and it was fine. I just came back from a 4 day cruise, where I could not sync any of my information. Now that I have been back for 24 hours, with the location and Bluetooth on and nothing will sync, I've even tried uninstalling the app and reinstalled.
