No matter how many times I try to sync my fit bit to my phone since the newest update it will not actually sync.

I am having the same issue. I have a Charge 2 with Android 6.0.1 and have never had an issue syncing until the last update. I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps and nothing works.

@Ljs9249@ToxiciaKina, did you restart your phone after the Fitbit app was upgraded? I am running the latest Fitbit app, v2.47, and it syncs much faster than it used to.

I am also having this issue on my Samsung Galaxy S8+. Fitbit version 2.47, tried resetting my Alta tracker and my phone. Still won't sync.

Mine is working again, thank you! It seems I restarted my phone, restarted my fitbit, restarted my bluetooth a million times. Finally, I uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app and I think restarting my phone after this made it work.

Hello my friends, @ToxiciaKina, @Ljs9249, @USAF-Larry, @Chadlaw23! I'm so glad to see you. These App updates are made to actually improve features on the App, fix bugs and previous issues, and add brand new features to give you a better experience, so this should not affect your syncing at all.
You can try to restart your tracker a few times, restart your phone and try to sync to get back on track. If this doesn't work, you can set up your tracker as a new device as well.
Let me know how it goes!

My charge 2 also won't sync since the new update, tried everything from uninstalling app, restarting phone, restarting Fitbit and turning on all permissions as detailed in another post. Nothing works 👎🏻
