Hi all!
I got an Ionic for Xmas and I generally love it and can't imagine being without it now. The one problem I have is that my sync will work all day then at some point without me doing anything my fitbit will pair with my phone and "ionic" will show up in my bluetooth list. At this point it will not sync no matter what I do.
As soon as I choose to "Forget" ionic in my bluetooth settings it works perfectly... until approx 12-15 (sometime 😎 hours later it will pair itself again and syncing stops.
Before anybody says try uninstalling, restarting, redoing - I've read the forums for the last 2 weeks about syncing and bluetooth and I've tried everything!!!! I'm lost.... it's not the end of the world and I hope to get a new phone in a few months (I currently have a 2 year old Moto X Play running Android 7.1.1)
Anybody else had this problem?

Thanks for sharing those steps that you have tried to get the Fitbit working.
This might be happening because the Moto X Play is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.
If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.
