My Fitbit Alta HR h had issues syncing for 7days now, I have the latest version of the app. I have reset the fitbit turned my Bluetooth off and on, turned the phone off and on set the app to continuous syncing and forced the app to stop. Nothing is working. I thought the latest update was supposed to fix these issues 😭

Hi there @RachelMc, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! Indeed, there were reports that the previous version of the app was causing syncing issues, however it should be fixed with the new version.

As a matter of review I would like to share the following post to see if there is something missing to try: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

Something additionally you can try after the update is to reset the app:

Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

Hope this helps, keep me posed how it goes.

Hello Roberto from FitBit

You could not be more wrong. The app is still plagued with bluetooth connectivity issues. My device ran out of power today and i had no warning because the device does not have a battery status, and it will not sync with the app unless i turn off bluetooth and then back on again, sometimes i have to repeat the procedure. I have to perform this function EVERY time i want to sync the device, i don't get ANY notifications because the device keeps disconnecting from my phone. 6 MONTHS this has been going on and all we get from FitBit is the same unhelpful apology and an assurance that their engineers are working on it and then a list of the same unhelpful tips for resolving the issue, none of which have worked for the past 6 months. With all due respect i would suggest that you need better engineers. FitBit's response has been appaling.
