Syncing problem samsung galaxy J3

I sometimes cannot sync or receive notifications to my Samsung J3. Is the phone not compatible? It works sometimes.  I have tried all the usual restart, unintall etc. Or could it be a Bluetooth problem on my phone?  Please help!!

I just got a Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse and was pretty upset to realize that it's not on the list of "compatible devices" and can't be synced with any FitBit. None of the J3 styles are compatible. It's ridiculous and I wish I knew who to complain to. If Fitbit works with android there's no reason it should work with some phones and not others.
