Syncing problems with my phone (not computer)

Hi,

I didn't use my Fitbit Charge HR for a while, but now it seems like there is a huge problem with syncing it with my mobile device (Android 5 - Motorola Moto G 3). I did already two factory resets, tried almost every solution on this forum but still can't get my Fitbit synced. There are no problems with syncing with my computer, my Bluetooth of my phone works fine, and my phone isn't acting weird either so I have absolutely no idea why it still does not work.

I use now my computer to sync, but I really should want to get it synced to my phone as well, because of the call notifications and running tracking.

Anyone who can help me?

My Samsung S4 is running Android Lollipop (5.0.1). Just recently I had a sync problem and discovered that I had to turn on Location Settings in order to sync.

Perhaps you can give it a try and let us know if it works.

I posted a request to update the Fitbit Help pages with this info. Please discuss and support the request here: fitbit.link/29pe82W

My location service is always turned on and it still doesn't sync. So it doesn't make any difference... But thank you for your reaction!

Thanks for the help @geeruff! It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community @Kamil-Bernaerts! I have double checked the list of the Supported devices and I fount that at the moment the only Motorola Moto G supported devices are 1st. gen (2013) and 2nd. gen (2014). This is due to not all Bluetooth 4.0 chip devices are able to be accessed by apps like the Fitbit App. You can check the of supported devices list here

I hope this helps, keep me posted! 🙂

I have recently had the same problem.  For over two years I could sync my Charge HR with my Samsung S5.  Recently, in the last two weeks, I get a sync error when I try to sync using my phone.  My phone does link with my car using blue tooth and my Fitbit HR will sync with my PC.  The location permissions are turned on.  I have deleted the Fitbit app from my phone and reloaded it but I still have the same problem.  How do I get this problem cleared?
