Hi, how do you reset the watch?

Wish I knew! Fortunately my watch decided to pair on it's own after a
Samsung software update this morning. Perhaps because I used Smartswitch to
copy my old phone settings to the new phone? Sync working now. From what I
can tell there isn't any way to reset the watch itself. I wonder if
impairing and deleting it from your account would essentially be a reset?

I have not been successful getting my Alta HR to sync to my new phone galaxy S9. Phone's only been out a week so I'm remaining hopeful. sigh

Thank you!

This worked.  Deleted app from phone, reinstalled- deleted Blaze from app, reset the Blaze and added new device and it synced with Samsung S9+

Same issue here, it was working fine since I got the phone. No issues. It has been spurratic at best.

I have a Alta HR which I only purchased a week ago. I bought the Samsung S9
today and Alta won't sync with it. I would had thought Fitbit would had
time to get this validated by now or provide a firm timescale when it would
be. Very frustrating!

Yes, and sadly, mine was working, and all of a sudden, it stopped. Will not work on Kindle either. I may try hooking it up direct to my CPU, which is a pain, cause I want it to sync through my phone. Very frustrating.

Hi there everyone, I see you are experiencing issue to set up your Fitbit trackers/watches or syncing your information with the new Galaxy S9. Rest assure we are working to add more devices for the convenience of all our users.

At the moment while is not listed as compatible, it may present these issues due the app still is not optimized for this device. If your device isn't listed yet, you can check this link at a later date to see if device support has been added.

So far we do not have further details of a precise date of when this device is going to be listed as compatible to share with you. Thank you for all your patience and refer to the earlier recommendations from this thread in the meantime.

See you later!

I was able to sync by deleting the device from the app, removing the app and re-installing.  I restarted the Blaze and added the device to the Galaxy S9+ and it worked.  Have not tried with my alta hr  I cant find my charger but will try doing the same.

I deleted the App, Resync'd the Flex, after adding it back, and I had no
luck! I had to go and get an IFit, and that works like a champ, and does
all the same thing as the FitBit does. At half the cost and 100% less the
headache!

I will keep my FitBit until they get the kinks worked out, but it is as if
to say, keep your old phone, because we can't keep up with emerging
technology!

Thank you. Mine Syncs now after a restart of the phone, but notifications
still don't pop up. Do notifications work for you after doing this?
Best Answer
Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity yet to reboot the fitbit to see
if I can get to sync. I'm working away from home.

My Charge HR will synch with my S9 but no notifications.  I'm afraid that if I reboot the fitbit or reinstall it, it will stop working all together.  Should I keep everything as is?
