Hello,
I have a closed group and I would like to notify another member of the group of a post.
I share my workout and I do @_their_name_ which even gives me autorecommendation of members to tag.
After posting, they are not notified.
My friend has an iOS phone and did the same, but I did not get a notification.
It's unrealistic to constantly monitor a group for changes. Being able to draw attention with a tag via a push notification should be implemented.

Hi @impoundmolecule, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
The information and details that were shared in your post are appreciated. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Does this occur with an specific group or with all of them?
Looking forward to your reply.

Using a OnePlus 5 - Android version 9.
I've never used "groups" before until now, but my friend is tagging me daily in the single group I am in.
None of his daily notifications appear on my phone despite the tagging.

Update:
We are now both receiving push notification on post member tags.
Since I am on Android and my friend is on an iPhone, I don't believe this issue was phone platform dependent.
Is it possible that the "Group" took a couple of days in part of it's process to register members or something like that for push notifications?
Something backend related?
Regardless, it is now working 🙂
