I've followed other directions to get email, text and calendar notifications on my charge 2 from my galaxy s8, but in the Notifications section of the FitBit app, those aren't even options to choose from

Welcome to the Forums @jennwn.

 

Let me help you figure how to get the notifications.

 

My suggestion in this case would be for you to try log log out of the app and then log back in as that should force it all to be downloaded again from the servers and should get the settings to display correctly.

 

In the meantime, I'd like to ask you to provide a screenshot of what you see when you are setting up the notifications. Specifically where you should get the option to select the apps.
