How do I get my Samsung phone set so I can get text messages on it?

First, please verify that your Samsung mobile device is on our list of supported devices with our products and services. Then, please check our help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? and take in consideration all the information that is specified there, let me know how it goes.

The only notifications that won't work is text. I get calls, calendar etc but not text. I have Samsung S8+. I use Message+ for text through Verizon. I have checked settings and all appears to be ok. Any help would be appreciated

UPDATE After an hour with Verizon we figured out that for whatever reason Message+ would not sync with my FitBit Versa. As soon as I switched to the regular Messages app it worked. Now to find a Message app that I like and works with the FitBit.

I dont get text on my Inspire hr. I have a G7 ThinQ. Its a samsung galaxy. Please help!

First, I'd like to confirm your mobile device model because the G7 ThinQ is LG brand and not a Samsung Galaxy as per your post. I suggest you to check if your mobile device is compatible with our products and services here. Even though your device is not compatible, you can try the steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes. I recommend you to review the Accepted Solution of this thread and take in consideration the information that was specified there.

Working with FitBit Customer Service I was able to get the text messages on
my FitBit. They were great to work with. They actually ended up sending me
a new tracker as it was less then a year old.

Hi, I have the Huawei P 20 Pro. I can't seem to set up text notifications. Could you confirm is this is because this phone is not compatible or if it could be another reason?
