I have LG thin q and the versa 2. I can receive text messages but I cant open them. When I try to open it says that there is nothing to show.

@Joe5381 Welcome to the forums. I will gladly help you about text notifications on your Fitbit device. 

Just as @Guy_ explained, a copy of the information on the status bar in your smartphone is sent to the Fitbit device. Make sure that you have the preview for text messages enabled, so that the message can also be read on the status bar. Else if the content is hidden from the status bar, nothing will be shown on your Fitbit device either.

Hi @Joe5381 - when a notification arrives on the phone (in the status bar) a copy is sent to the watch.

If you open the message on the phone (or it disappears from the status bar on the phone] it will be removed from the watch.
