I am no longer getting notifications for text messages on my Alta HR, and notifications for phone calls is sporadic (they generally come through but with the wrong phone number and/or contact name). It stopped working in August. At first i would still get the contact name but no message. Then I updated the app, which caused notifications to stop completely. Siince then I have tried everything to attempt to fix it. I have reset the Fitbit, removed it from the app and re-added it, updated the app, removed and re-installed the app, restarted my phone, turned Bluetooth on and off, unpaired and re-paired, Everything. I've done all of those things multiple times each and in different order. I was hoping the most recent app update would fix it, but no. I am a teacher who is not allowed to look at my phone while there are students in the room, so the notification feature was one of my favorite Fitbit features. Now I am missing texts right and left! Please help!

Hello @MelissaV42, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
I appreciate all the information and details that were shared in your post, totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you, thanks for troubleshooting this prior to posting too. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Alta HR are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi Ricardo,
Yes, I have already tried all of that, and before this summer it was working fine. Hopefully there is a fix coming from Fitbit, since it sounds like I am not the only one having this problem!
