The food tracker is not working properly. I cannot see the top row of the list of food anymore regardless of whether I scroll up or down on my phone. I rebooted my Pixel 6 pro phone and cleared my cache and uninstalled and reinstalled this app and I still can't see the top row of food when I try to log my food. If this isn't fixed within the next few days I'm just going to upgrade everything to Samsung including my Fitbit / Google Pixel watch 2. Will you please roll back the Fitbit app upgrades to October 2024
for this app to fix this immediately?

I logged out & force quit the Fitbit app then I restarted my Pixel 6 pro cell phone and log back into the Fitbit app but I still have the same issue with not being able to see the top row of the frequent recent or custom food section of your Fitbit app.
I'm seriously considering considering going back to the Samsung Mobile device ecosystem after leaving it when their phones were overheating because of this Fitbit App food situation as well as not being able to install Wear OS 5 on my Verizon Wireless Pixel watch 2 yet.

Ever since I upgraded my pixel 7 phone to Android 15 yesterday, the top 10% of the screen in the Fitbit app is cutoff. I have reinstalled the app, and this didn't change anything. This means the tops search results for tracking food can't be ready, I can't adjust timescale on the weight metrics, etc. come on Google, this is your phone with your operating system with your fitness app. Can you fix this ASAP?

For about a week now the Food Log has not been working properly. The top portion doesn't show. Can't add a new custom food, can't see the top of the daily Nutrient list. Can't scroll up to the very top of any of the food lists or the daily nutrition data

Hi @mestell Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Allow me to help you with the food log feature of the Fitbit app.
Ensure you have the latest version of the Fitbit app:
If your apps update automatically, check the Recently updated or Up to date list to check if the Fitbit app was updated.
To check which version of the Fitbit app you have, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > Help. The app version is at the top (you should see 4.30)
I hope these instructions will be helpful for you!

As someone who recently (and painstakingly) made the decision to fully immerse myself in the Google Ecosystem, I have purchased a Pixel Pro 9 XL, a Pixel Watch 3, and even a Chromebook. To be perfectly honest, one of the most influential factors that finally pushed me over the edge into this course of action was knowing that I would have a centralized location to store all my fitness and nutrition data in one app. The irony of my choice given the present circumstances with this issue is not lost on me. As someone who was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, you can imagine that the mix of physical and nutritional tracking is of critical importance. At this point, the Fitbit app is truly unusable in this state. Case in point, I have purchased/eaten several food items that are not in the food database. And due to this known issue, it is impossible for me to add a custom food, because the option to add it is covered by the offending banner on the top of my phone screen. This may seem like a minor issue to most people, but it is impacting customers in more severe ways than most might think. Please escalate this issue to the level it deserves for prompt resolution. Thank you.

Same thing happening here! I can't add a custom food anymore! This is driving me nuts!
I'm on the latest 4.30 and it's still not fixed.

I reported this issue on November 13th 2024 and it still has not been resolved yet.
I am going to quit my Fitbit premium subscription and pay for MyFitnessPal like I used to if this isn't resolved soon.

I have this issue as well, it's just another one to the pile of reasons why Fitbit has got worse each time Google try to consume more of it into their system.
Personally, I have this issue to add to the inability of any custom food to be able to record anything that isn't a whole number in the ingredients thus the tracking becomes completely inaccurate, the inability to track vitamins/minerals which was partly down to the other annoying fact they removed the web based site and then there is the, not totally related, but utterly annoying habit of my Pixel 2 Watch to go completely flat rapidly.
