My Charge 3 is 7 hours off on time. 

It isn't syncing with my Google Pixel. 

It wasn't alerting about  messages or letting me know when the phone rang. 

 

These are in reverse order. I wanted to get it to alert me about messages but changing settings and permissions did nothing.  One suggestion was to reset it which I did. Now the time is off and I can't sync.

I'm having the same issue. I've tried uninstalling then re installing the app, restarting my phone and device, turning my Bluetooth off and on, unpaired and reconnecting my device (which is a pain because the app has issues finding my device). 

 

I've managed to get it to sync a couple times so my data is saved, but my device constantly Un syncs and my watch is often off by several hours making it difficult to get my active hour steps.
