Tracking does not work too good

whilst on walks the tracker via gps works ok until you reach approximately 2 and half miles. After that it is ver sluggush open the app and the red line is no where to be seen it does not keep up with your actual location. After finishing you cannot pause and finish until the red tracking line has caught up to where you are.

Every time when I finish I have to open the app and leave it for about 20 mins or so once the red line reaches me I can then click pause and finish. but then it does not always register the wzlk on my dashboard. Like today I did a 3.6 miles walk wawaited for the tracker to catch up clicked the pause and finish and it is not showing on my dashboard neither is the walk a couple of days ago. Yesterdays shows.

Hello @Nisa, good to see you around. Please try the following suggestion:

1. Log out from your account and double tap the home button on your iOS device. Your open apps will show on your device's screen.
2. Close the Fitbit app by swiping the app image in an upward motion.
3. Reopen the Fitbit app and try again.

Hope this helps, see you around in our community.

Hello Roberto thank you for replying this is on Android phone not IOS. But what you have suggested I have done several times also uninstalled and reinstalled the tracking exercise is still the same very sluggish. I have now just about stopped using the fitbit app for tracking its ok to a point on the other features but to track an exercise I have gone back to Map my Walk app as this has no problems at all. Tracks excellent and records every time and keeps up my location as fitbit app does not.
