Transition to Google not working

Ever since I updated to 3.83.1

1. App logs me out every few hours

2. When I do get logged back in, I get hit with a s***ty dark pattern screen trying to get me to sign up for Fitbit Premium

3. Also I get pestered to migrate my Fitbit account to Google, which I can't do because several weeks ago I created a child account to try to set up an old Fitbit for my daughter, but never used the child account. Which, you'd think they'd be able to tell, but nope, I still get asked every time I login to migrate my account, which is several times a day because the app repeatedly logs me out.

 

I requested deletion of the child account 2 weeks ago, it is still pending removal. Contacted support, they told me to look for a confirmation email I never received (and yes, I checked my spam folder). Then they asked me to clear my cache, as if that's supposed to have any effect on my pending request to delete an account.

 

What an absolute trash fire. Thanks for making my decision to never own another Fitbit device so easy.

@SunsetRunner Hello there. Thank you very much for reaching out about your account and the explanation. Please note that the fact you have set up a child account, is a factor that my be preventing your migration, regardless if it was used or not. The family accounts will have the option to migrate soon. That must be the reason you still cannot migrate. I appreciate your patience. I was being logged out every day too. However, I just deleted the caché files and logged back in and since then it is not happening any more. I would give that a try.
