Trouble syncing my Zip on my Android

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5, up to date, and everytime I try to sync I have to spend at least five minutes repeatedly trying because it won't sync. Why is it so **ahem** hard? I have friends who have experienced the same problem, it's ridiculous, fix it.
