Trying to add new device to account

Keeps saying update your application and continue . No updates required on phone so what does this mean

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. So we can move forward with this, can you please let me know if you already checked your Google Play Store to see if there's a Fitbit app update available at the moment? Also, make sure that your mobile device is running the latest Android version too.

 

If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes

Thank you, all sorted. The following day I found an update for phone and then had to update fitbit too, it kept saying fitbit.com was down so maybe there were issues there too. Seems to be working fine now.
