Typing glitches when logging food

When I try to change serving numbers (2 carrots instead of my normal 3), or when I try to search a new food for the first time, the app will suddenly revert (in the serving numbers circumstance) or delete what I've typed and make me start over.

 

It is a minor inconvenience, but it seems to be getting worse? I just tried to log something and change the defaulted number of servings, and it made me change it 4 or 5 times before it kept the updated number. Annoying when I'm busy and trying to log something quickly before I forget!

Hi @Macg2222, the problem with the portion number reverting when you are trying to change it has been going on for ages. I've seen it crop up several times in the past couple of years. For all the updates supposedly dealing with bugs this has never been sorted out.

The other thing you mentioned, that when you type in an item to search and it suddenly reverts to before you started the search, that is new. I have recently started experiencing this too.

I also find that while typing in the item it suddenly freezes with a selected letter halfway up the screen. I've only had this in this app so I don't think it's just my old phone. But I haven't noticed anyone else mentioning that happening to them.

Whew, I'm glad I'm not the only one. It is minor, in the grand scheme of things, but still very annoying!!

Definitely annoying, mind you, the one that really got me was when it would suddenly decide to change the type of measurement I.e. Teaspoons to cups. I think I ended up with a cup of coffee with 1500 calories of sugar in it. Then the blessed thing remembers that amount if you don't spot it straight away.
