UI redesign downgrades, again, and again....

7 years ago when I started using a Fitbit, we had a nice clear concise informative dashboard. One glance told you all you needed to know.

A little later, along came the redesign and we had to scroll across 2 pages to see what we could see on one before - Downgrade. We were told you will get used to it. Never did.

Then another redesign after Google came along and now we have to scroll through over 3 pages to get the same information, the only addition, useless information less whitespace.

Just recently the log water function changed gone is the quick add, gone is the quick view of the last few days. Every operation now requires more clicks.

I cannot understand the desire to make simple tasks more complex, the obsession with replacing useful information with meaningless blanks, and the continuing drive to make the app and website (gone) more and more useless.

Perhaps it's time for a different design team, or at least the focus groups used to prove the new designs.
