Unable to Add Second Device

I have a Fitbit Ionic (which I am not completely happy with, but that is another story) which I would like to pair with my girlfriends Aria 2 scales.

Apparently, this should not be a problem, and indeed I can pair them both to the app without issue.  However, I am unable to pair *both* at the same time.

If I pair either device and try to add the other, it treats the second device as a replacement and asks if I wish to "Switch" to the second device and remove the first.

I cannot seem to find any way to ADD a second device.

As usual, the trouble shooting and manuals are of no help.  If this doesn't work the Aria 2; Charge 2 and Ionic will all be going back because I am losing patience with Fitbit.

@MoratJG, this is a known problem with the Fitbit app, and they are working to resolve it.  However, if your girlfriend already has the Aria 2 set up on her Fitbit account, you do not need to, nor want to, set it up on  your account.  Instead, she needs to log onto the Fitbit.com Dashboard from a PC, go to the Settings->Aria 2, and send you an invitation to use the scales.  Then, you need to log into the Fitbit.com Dashboard from a PC and accept the invitation. You app will then show the Aria 2 on your account, and you can use the scales.

Larry,

I will give that a go and post results.

Thanks.

Of course, this won't work as my girlfriend also wants to use her Charge 3 with the Aria 2.

I guess I will have to create another Fitbit account for Aria 2 and invite us both through that.

Or, y'know, Fitbit could just fix the myriad problems with the app ....

@MoratJG, at this point I am not sure what will not work.  If she has set up the Aria 2 on her account using her account that also has the Charge 3 on it. She can use it.  Then if she logs onto the Fitbit.com Dashboard from a PC and sends an invite to you to use the Aria 2, and you accept the invitation also from a PC using the Fitbit.com Dashboard, you will have the Aria 2 on your app on your account. Now both can use the scales and the data will appear in your account.  If the Aria 2 has been removed from her account by virtue of you adding to yours, I am not sure if she will be able to successfully add it back, though.
