So.... This is seems to be less of an Android App issue and more of a generic Fitbit issue that I can't seem to resolve.
I have 100 notification showing in my Fitbit app, and they're old, from 2017 - 2018. As a result I'm not getting new notifications. I've deleted them from the app but as soon as I deleted them they were pushed right back to my app.
Since I'm in the process of moving to a new phone, I installed the Fitbit app "manually" (I didn't let Google transfer apps & data) and the notifications basically showed up right away. I've had my case escalated past the initial troubleshooters with Fitbit help team, but they're basically telling me they can't do anything.
I assume the only option at this point is to delete my account and start over, but that means losing years of data.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
David

@DavidJ726, I got fed up posting about this and never getting an answer. These old notifications are not issued anymore. But when they stopped using them they didn't delete them. I have a massive stack of them. They don't seem to stop any new notifications, they come and go as they should. But the old ones persist.

Open the Settings app, tap on About, and then Shutdown. Try clearing the notification now. This fix has resolved the issue for most. If it doesn't work the first time around, restart your Versa a few more times and try to clear them again.
