Unable to Pair Charge 3 Special Edition with Samsung Galaxy S9

I can see the Charge 3 on my available devices for Bluetooth pairing.  I have checked that my Fitbit app is up-to-date and I have restarted both my phone (Samsung Galaxy S9) and my Charge 3 via holding the button for 8 seconds while charging.  None of this has worked and I'm still unable to pair my Charge 3 with my Fitbit app.

It takes a while for my phone to find the Charge 3 while trying to pair,  but it cannot get past the "We've found your tracker!" screen. What am I missing?

If your Charge 3 shows as a trusted device in the phones Bluetooth.. I would remove it and try again.

I seem to be having the same type of issue with my versa lite. I did a factory reset, now it won't/can't get past the found tracker screen. It seems to try an update, then fails. Not happy.

It's not showing as a Trusted Device.  It's only showing as a device that is nearby.

Maybe that is the issue with mine. How do you make it a trusted device?

@Hippypippa you don't make it a trusted device, once the app has connected the tracker to your Fitbit account, then the app will connect the tracker to your BT trusted list.
